ABOUT US
St. Paul's Mar Thoma Church was first inaugurated on July 26, 1988 by the late His Grace Alexander Mar Thoma Metropolitan to provide the spiritual needs for the Mar Thoma Christians in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. Although, St. Paul's was first inaugurated in 1988, our first permanent place of worship came in July of 1994 inaugurated by the late His Grace Alexander Mar Thoma Metropolitan, the Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus and Rev. Eapen Cherian. It is located on 2425 Gus Thomasson Rd. Mesquite, TX 75150. We are currently building a new place of worship located on 1002 Barnes Bridge Rd. Mesquite, TX 75150. The Church is in the first phase of construction, and should be ready for worship as late as October. As the second Mar Thoma Church in Dallas, St. Paul's has grown to become a strong and stable place of worship for its members. Our Church is lead by our Vicar Rev. A. P. Noble who came from India May of 2009 along with his wife Renny Kochamma and children Sneha and Vineeth. We are also blessed to have Rev. Jaisen Thomas as the Dallas Area Youth Chaplain. He and his wife Sherin Kochamma provide leadership to all four Mar Thoma Church Youth Fellowships.
Our Mission is to bring the youths of the St. Paul's Mar Thoma Church closer to God and to each other. We want the youths to have fellowship with their Heavenly Father and with their friends. We are called by God to be His servants and to light those in darkness. Our desire is to follow our Savior Jesus and to grow continuously to be like Him. We have Bible Studies every Friday at 7:00 PM. We have youth meetings following the Holy Qurbana on select Sundays to discuss the corporate part of the youth fellowship. Every Tuesdays we have a Bible Study that deals with in depth discussion about different aspects of the Bible with our Youth Chaplain Rev. Jaisen Thomas. Every Thursdays we have Prayer Call at 9:15 PM. We are also involved with the Diocesan Youth Fellowship and South West Regional Youth Fellowship. We partake in Mission Trips to Mexico and the Native America, the Regional Sports Tournament, and the Regional Youth Conference.
